This mail is just about adding support for omap to libdebian-install.
I will continue with flash-kernel (which calls archdetect in one of
the scripts in debian/, which uses libdebian-install).

I wasn't aware this is used in Ubuntu. Do you know why they need an
omap4 kernel flavour?

Which documentation are you talking of? The package only contains
Doxygen files.
