Once the question has been answered, it is not re-asked again.

We could probably make hw-detect "forget" about the answer to the
question. However, that will make preseeding of that question
impossible.

That's kind of a trade off, indeed. After all, you can always restart
the install if you finally decide that you should have answered "yes"
to the question.
