1) the amd64-i386-powerpc-netinst multi-arch image built on 20101016-08:59 (d-i 20101016-03:54) is useless, given that on both amd64 (my laptop) and i386 (a Compaq Deskpro EN SFF PIII-650) after the country/language selection there is an error: [!!] Load installer components from CD No kernel modules were found. This probably is due to a mismatch between the kernel used by this version of the installer and the kernel version available in the archive. If you're installing from a mirror, you can work around this problem by choosing to install a different version of Debian. The install will probably fail to work if you continue without kernel modules. Continue the install without loading kernel modules?
Same here with debian-testing-amd64-i386-powerpc-netinst 20101025-15:34, both on amd64 and i386.
