The answer to that question is simple enough to find with either a quick
look at packages.d.o, or simply:
$ rmadison firmware-ipw3945
firmware-ipw3945 | 0.4 | etch-m68k/non-free | all
firmware-ipw3945 | 0.4+etchnhalf.1 | oldstable/non-free | all
The firmware task should probably be made release-specific...
