As also mentioned on IRC, the installer uses the exact same kernel as the 
regular kernel packages, so any fixes have to go through the kernel team.
Possibly this could qualify for a stable update, but you'd have to discuss 
that with Dann Frazier.

I don't think this particular fix is really relevant for the installer; 
it's more important for installed systems.

Cool. Hopefully they all get included in 2.6.29 and we can work on 
removing the manual loading of modules in D-I when that hits unstable.
