Comments/Problems:
I did a previous install using ext3 as the filesystem for /, choose
Base system plus Desktop tasks and everything went well. Later, I wanted
to test if LILO was still working in d-i.
I do not use LILO personally, but as I probably will use XFS for some
future projects, I wanted to know how well supported under d-i it was.
The installer correctly detected I picked XFS for / and opted to install
LILO instead of GRUB.
However, after selecting to install it on the virtual disk MBR
(/dev/vda, the virtual disk used by KVM), the installer presented me
with a red screen saying that lilo-installer exited with code 1 and exited.
I the saved the logs using the proper main-menu entry for that option
(saving logs) and I'm attaching them to this message, gziped as requested.
Let me know if I can be of any help. This is reproducible, as the
first time I see that I did an install using Brazilian Portuguese as a
language. I did another one using English as the language (so the logs
wouldn't be "poluted" for non-Brazilian-Portuguese speaking debuggers)
and the same error happened.
Regards,
