Ah, damn. I totally misread the patch because the diff is synced a bit 
strangely. Sorry about that. The file looks fine.

The kernel minor versions could have been updated to 2.6.24 or so as 
2.6.18-686 did in fact still work for those systems, but that is cosmetic 
and does not in any way affect the test.
