It would also be more consistent with templates where we show the current
RAID configuration I think as there it is not translatable.

OK.
Ryan: would you be willing to work on a separate patch for that that goes
on top of your current ones?
Basic idea is to rename the templates so the name becomes more generic and
can be used for multiple RAID levels and to replace RAIDx by a variable
set from the scripts.

If you'd like something to help you manage the patch series a bit, a
number of us are very happy with git-svn:

Not sure we should go this far with indentation. You lose a lot of lines
by it, especially for the last item. I think this would be a reasonable
compromise:
The letter is the arrangement of the copies:
n - near copies : Multiple copies of one data block are at similar
        offsets in different devices.
f - far copies : Multiple copies have very different offsets
o - offset copies: Rather than the chunks being duplicated within a
stripe, whole stripes are duplicated but are rotated by one device
so duplicate blocks are on different devices.

Note that the alignment does not work anyway for the graphical installer,
so in the end I'd propose to go for:
The letter is the arrangement of the copies:
n - near copies: Multiple copies of one data block are at similar
        offsets in different devices.
f - far copies: Multiple copies have very different offsets
o - offset copies: Rather than the chunks being duplicated within a
stripe, whole stripes are duplicated but are rotated by one device
so duplicate blocks are on different devices.

Hmm. In your last proposal for this template you drop the indentation for
following lines completely. What are you suggesting to use?

"a RAIDx" is correct.
