Workaround for bug #480533 - perl-base

Hello,
The bug #480533 is a blocker for the Beta2 release. The current
available workaround is to install perl instead of perl-base.
There're some things we need to care about. This wouldn't happen if
we're installing Etch and then I think we might use a
post-base-installer hook that checks the perl-base version and if it's
5.10.0-10 it installs perl as well.
What people think about this plan? Does someone see any other
alternative?
