I chose "Spanish" as installation language in "normal" installation mode
(not "expert").

I used the KDE install CD (, so I suppose GNOME was no option, ) and
selecting "Standard" and "Desktop"

just 315 packages were installed.

cmdline:
BOOT_IMAGE=/debian/linux video=vesa:ywrap,mtrr vga=788 locale=es_ES
domain?=localdomain hostname?=xp-es-qemu mirror/http/proxy= quiet
preseed.cfg (first line was empty):
d-i console-keymaps-at/keymap select es
d-i console-keymaps-at/keymap seen false
d-i passwd/user-fullname string Administrador
d-i passwd/user-fullname seen false

I am referring to the timezone question. The installer (at least with
win32-loader) never asked me the country.

The timezone country list looked like this (three entries):

What happens, if a Spanish-speaking Debian-fan installs living in Pakistan or
Australia by the way? (Globalization, you know)
I am a german guy living in Dominican Republic/ Carribbean, as an example.

I forgot the CD at home, I will tell you on Monday, sorry!

Thank you² ;-) !
