Bug#468565: debian-installer: "setting the clock" takes too long from behind firewall
Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal
Hi,
when the Debian Installer tries to set the system clock from a network
time server, and the installation runs from behind a firewall that
does not permit arbitrary outgoing connection, the installation
process waits for like two minutes to time out.
Please consider setting the timeout to, like, ten seconds.
Greetings
Marc
