Installation on NSLU2 does not complete (initramfs nslu2 hook requires user interaction)
Hi Joey
Installation on the NSLU2 using the daily build from 2007/12/01 stops
when generating the initramfs:
Dec 3 05:15:48 in-target: update-initramfs: Generating
/boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-3-ixp4xx
Dec 3 05:18:21 in-target: Warning: ixp4xx_npe ethernet driver
firmware file /lib/firmware/NPE-B not found
Dec 3 05:18:21 in-target: Warning: This system has an ethernet module
loaded; it's not safe to
Dec 3 05:18:21 in-target: create an initramfs image for the new
kernel without the firmware file.
Dec 3 05:18:21 in-target:
Dec 3 05:18:22 in-target: Press Ctrl-C to abort build, or Enter to continue
nslu2-utils is version 0.10+r71-13, but I don't see any changes to the
initramfs hook that should cause this problem. I am using a DFSG image
that does not contain the NPE-B firmware.
