What would be much more interesting for us now is knowing whether the Debian 4.0 "etch" installer chooses the right kernel for this machine. If you can do it, we suggest you try downloading a "netinst" CD (http://www.debian.org/CD/netinst/) and try with it. Given that nothing will really be changed in the sarge installer, we prefer closing bug reports related to that version of the Debian installer.Attachment: signature.asc
