In that case, I would say that the test did not accurately model the
submitter's circumstances.
To increase the chances of getting an out-of-sync RAID at this point, could
you try copying a lot of files around in the vm, and *then* killing it in
the middle of that copy operation? The RAID will after all only be
out-of-sync if there was a write operation in progress that was interrupted
before it was copied to both disks.

I tend to agree, but I would appreciate seeing results from this one last
test as described above before downgrading this bug...
