Could that extra code also look at an USB memory stick?
So it makes preseeding possible for an unmodified CD. (adding a
bootparameter to actual look at the USB makes sense)

Hey, that could also work for unmodified CD, the bootparamater
would be ramdisk=/dev/the_USB_stick.
