Comments/Problems:

Although the installation goes fine, in the end the x-server doesn't start. I've tried installing the whole system serveral times. It seems to me that there are problems in detecting some hardware like mouse and keyboard. Unfortunatly i do not know how how to send you the result from lspci with graphical interface.

The "installgui"-method seems rather useles to me as there is no advantage in using it the the old gui. It's also rather buggy. The GoBack-button doesn't send me back in the installation but simply continous it. My mouse pad dousn't work properly (as already stated on debian.org).
An installer from a running live-system like in Ubuntu 6.10 would be great.

Keep up the great work. Thank you all for free high quality software.

This is a known issue due to changes in the X.Org packages. You can solve
it by installing the ...-video-all and ...-input-all packages. It is
being worked on by the X.Org team.

It does have definite advantages; the behavior of GoBack buttons is
identical to the regular installer.

As the installation was basically successful, I'm closing this report.
Thank you very much for filing it and good luck with your new system.

Cheers,
