This patch looks a lot better. It is still possible for me to get 
a "wrong" cursor, especially by moving the cursor in or out of a text box 
using a very fast motion ("jerking" it downwards). However, I feel this 
patch gives enough improvement to apply it.

The patch introduces one regression though that needs to be fixed first. 
Lines that contain an option button change color when you move over them, 
as shown in this screenshot:

P.S. Could you take a look at why g-i crashes all the time if you are not 
on VT5? It seems to happen a lot more often now than it used to.
