The latest version of debian include a selinux capable kernel. Consider to put the possibility of installing selinux in system by debian-installer

PS: Another bug could include the possibility of installing rsbac, grsecurity, etc but it were more difficult

selinux is already being installed by default. See the release notes for 
Etch: http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/releasenotes
