Comments/Problems: When ext2 format fails installation loops back to
partition. The only escape is ctrl-alt-del.
This left the jump drive unusable, exited the hdb partitions (Debian
Etch with 2.6.18 kernel) without closing and
damaged the MBR on hda. I was able to recover by booting from a
grml-0.9 CD, editing lilo.conf and running lilo

Everything went like clockwork until the ext2 format failed.
