Bug#412682: Netinst CD-image locks keyboard at boot on Macbook (Intel)

Package: installation-reports

Boot method: Boot from netinst CD-image
Image version: http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/daily/arch-latest/i386/iso-cd/debian-testing-i386-netinst.iso
Date: 26. February 2007

Machine: Apple Macbook white
Processor: 2GHz Intel Core2 Duo
Memory: 1Gb
Partitions: not relevant in respect of this problem

Output of lspci -nn and lspci -vnn:

Base System Installation Checklist:
[O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it

Initial boot:           [E]

Booting from CD results as complete keyboard freeze immediately after installer has displayed "Press F1 for help, or ENTER to boot: "-prompt.

There seems to be no difference between different booting methods, I've tried:

1. Booting from CD by holding 'C'-key pressed while system is turned on.
2. Booting from CD by selecting internal SuperDrive (DVD+-RW/CD+-RW)
   as system startup disk from Mac OS/X startup disk preference panel.
3. Booting from CD via rEFIT by selecting CD-ROM as boot device.
