Comments/Problems:
Impressive install. I use PPPoE and the install went better than ever, never complaining about the lack of
connection.
The only new bug I noticed is that d-i asked me which network card I wanted to configure, and one of
the cards had a wrong description, "Ethernet or Fast Ethernet". The other one that d-i offered, on eth0, is the
only Ethernet card on the system and had a precise description. The 2 other network cards on the machine are a
FireWire card and a
rt2500 802.11g one, which has no drivers in stock kernels. According to the interface name, it was the FireWire
card, eth1, that got the wrong description.

# discover bridge|grep 1394
Ricoh Co Ltd R5C552 IEEE 1394 Controller
If you know which package is responsible for that, then please reassign the bug. Otherwise, the installation
is a success and this bug report can be closed.

documentation intended to be used in debian-installer.
.
Parted currently supports DOS, Mac, Sun, BSD, GPT, MIPS and
PC98 disklabels/partition tables, as well as a 'loop' (raw
disk) type which allows use on RAID/LVM. Filesystems which
are currently fully supported are ext2, ext3, fat (FAT16
and FAT32), ReiserFS (with libreiserfs) and linux-swap.
Parted can also detect and remove HFS (Mac OS), JFS, NTFS,
UFS (Sun and HP), XFS and ASFS/AFFS/APFS (Amiga) filesystems,
but cannot create, resize or check these filesystems yet.
.
Note that ReiserFS support is only enabled if you install
the libreiserfs0.3-0 package. Since libreiserfs0.3-0 has been
removed from sarge, ReiserFS support is not compiled in the
default package.

The nature of this software means that any bugs could cause
massive data loss. While there are no known bugs at the moment,
they could exist, so please back up all important files before

Package: libpopt0-udeb
Status: install ok installed
Priority: optional
Section: debian-installer
Installed-Size: 24
Maintainer: Paul Martin <pm@debian.org>
Version: 1.10-2
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.3.6-6)
Description: lib for parsing cmdline parameters
Popt was heavily influenced by the getopt() and getopt_long() functions,
but it allows more powerful argument expansion. It can parse arbitrary
argv[] style arrays and automatically set variables based on command
line arguments. It also allows command line arguments to be aliased via
configuration files and includes utility functions for parsing arbitrary
strings into argv[] arrays using shell-like rules.

Description: loop-AES encryption modules for kernel 2.6.16-2-486-di
This package contains the loop-AES loadable Linux kernel modules
compiled for kernel 2.6.16-2-486-di
.
loop-AES can be used to encrypt disk partitions, removable media,
swap space and other devices. It provides measures to strengthen
the encryption: Passphrase seeds, multiple hash iterations, MD5 IV
and use of alternating encryption keys.
.
Encryption keys can be stored in a GnuPG-encrypted keyfile, which
allows the passphrase to be changed without re-encryption. Keyfiles
can also be encrypted asymmetrically for multi-user access.
.
This package includes the cipher modules blowfish, twofish and
serpent in addition to the default cipher (AES).
.
If you compiled a custom kernel, you will most likely need to
compile a custom version of these modules as well. The package
loop-aes-source has been provided for this purpose.
