yes, I'm really excited about dejavu: it's very well maintained, has a 
monthly release cycle and the excellent #dejavu channel on Freenode with
very helpful people

The screenshots are very g-i oriented; I'd like to set up something more general...

Christian's message gave you a good overview of the coverage; worth mentioning
about [1] for a complete per-language information.

As for the future of Dejavu, it already includes Arabic scripts (not used in g-i)
which need to be improved; ppl are working on designing Georgian fonts which will
be integrate in Dejavu, there are rumors about Bengali support.
