Comments/Problems:
Bootloader did recognize Fedora Core 6 Partition already on the disk, however did not set boot parameters of that partition OK.
FC6 Grub configuration should look as following:
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.8-1.2798.fc6 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6.img
and for Xen configuration:
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.8-1.2798.fc6 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6xen.img
however debian boot configration looked as following:
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.8-1.2798.fc6 ro root=/dev/hda1
save default
boot
and:
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.8-1.2798.fc6xen ro root=/dev/hda1
save default
boot
Additionally installation of nvidia binary driver from non-free failed.
Br,
Michael
