Comments/Problems:

I tried installgui and install method with and without acpi=off but the system stops
booting when probing PCI hardware with acpi=off and just after CPU detection with acpi on.

The fan go full speed and nothing more happens.

With an ubuntu cd of edgy i boot it with no problems

Thanks for the work on the installer and thanks to the release team!!
