Comments/Problems:

Trouble free install. Even got the correct 1280x800 widescreen
configuration of X automatically. Great work guys!

Probably would have had problems if I had tried to use the wireless 
network because of:
bcm43xx: Error: Microcode "bcm43xx_microcode5.fw" not available or load
failed

Yes, for the installed system you need the separate firmware package from 
non-free for that. The installer does not support loading separate 
firmware (yet).
