killed the .postinst procress. aptitude turned to a zombie process. dpkg package was not fully installed (had a fake start-stop-daemon after installing lilo manually)

No, it does not really freeze, it just sits there waiting for a fairly 
long timeout. The issue only occurs with static network configuration.

As the cause of the issue has already been solved in the daily builds, I 
am closing your report. Thanks for submitting it though.
