Comments/Problems:
Burned .iso with Nero 6 in Win2000; Nero reported CD was ok after
verification stage.
I used boot parameter to force static IP.
NIC was not detected (SMC 1211TX = RTL8139).
Installer reported CD files could not be loaded.
Installation attempt aborted.
