I'm trying to process old installation reports and would like to
ask a couple of questions about this report you filed in 2004.
You reported two problems:

 1) 3Com 3C905C-tx not working.
 2) aic7xxx module failing to load

If you still have access to this system, can you please send us
information about whether the NIC and SCSI controller work with 
another distribution / newer version of Debian, and if so, which
kernel version and modules they work with?

Important information would be:
 - Output of uname -a 
 - Output of lsmod
 - Output of lspci and lspci -n 

Please also let us know in case the system is no longer in use.
