Package: debian-installer
Severity: wishlist

if for some reason my debian installation fails (due to power outage,
bad media, etc), the installer should be capable of parsing the logs
from the failed install, and pick up where it left off.

i understand that this could be a rather difficult feature to
implement, which is why i've rated it as very wishlist.

thank you for your consideration.

Sorry, as maintainers it is ultimately our decision which bugs to keep
open and which not. We will not keep these bugs open.

Especially as there is no problem. You can also wish for a canary to fly
out of your keyboard during the installation. That does not mean that we
are going to implement it.

We _have_ taken note of your suggestions, but do not feel them relevant
enough to keep these reports open.

Cheers,
FJP
