Comments/Problems:

I use xfs on root file systems. This time error occurred, while
i tried to make one:
,--
|mkfs.xfs: error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1:
|cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
`--

My comments are:
- modules:
 - floppy still loads (deen hasn't such device)
 - powernow k8 doesn't installed, while kernel is *-amd64-k8
- IMHO installer must ask about PCMCIA, deen doesn't need it,
realy. And i think modern all-in-box laptops also. Laptop
 installation was successfully detected.

+ the best installer, does its job ! Great Work !

- but it sucks ;-) i mean for graphic lovers, but even text mode
 may be nicer.

Thanks, best wishes !

This is already being dealt with in http://bugs.debian.org/381881.
Thanks for reporting though.

This is a know issue and needs a change in libparted. We already have a
bug report open on that.

I'm pretty sure that this is a known kernel issue which will be fixed in a
newer kernel version. Suggest you try 2.6.17 from unstable.

The person in our team responsible for this feels that the burden of these
packages is so low that they are safe to install by default. We may
change this in the future though.

Thanks.

Did you try the graphical version of the installer? Though we're aware
that even that needs improvement, some of which is planned to happen
before Etch.

Closing your report as the installation was successful and there are no
new issues in it. Thank you very much for submitting your installation
report though.

Cheers,
FJP
