I've modified the instructions on the wiki to take this into account. > Could that also be the case on the installed system? That is very much possible because the installer did until today put it's module options there (and with an error making sure it won't work). So all you probably need to do is delete /etc/modprobe.conf. Nice messy tangle now hopefully untangled...
