(X people, this was initially an installation report for D-I. Benoît
has problems with the fr-latin9 layout and Ctrl-Alt-Fx keys of "Shift
(Maj)" key not working)

Well, this means that there still is some kind of bug in xserver-xorg,
then.
"fr-latin9" also works well on my own machines and all machines I ever
tried.
So, it might be interesting for the X people to investigate this with you.
