I tried this image but it crashes (typical G-I crash) on my test
machine (Trident CyberBlade XPA1 video card - don't ask) while it does
not on qemu. I know that vesa works on this machine, so I don't know
what to guess. The image built on the 22nd boots fine (unstable with
the vt2 switch bug removed), so I guess we have a regression or my
burning went wrong for the image built against 2.8.10.
Anybody else having a similar problem?

it does (also the name says it clearly ;-) but it would have been nice
to be able to test

2.8.10 with the current unstable, right?

Why not use -boot web space on alioth? Frans, any objections against
it? (Of course, he should not to make my mistake - he should
makeuploaded files group writable with d-i as group).
