Please mention the exact version of the Debian Installer you're
currently using. The above isn't really clear.

Please switch to the second console (Alt+F2), hit Enter to open a
shell and run the following command:

(lspci ; lspci -n)|sort

Then report the output which seems relevant to your SATA controller,
including the cryptic numbers.....

If you know which specific Linux kernel driver may support your
hardware, please tell us so, also.
