Ok, this means that the kernel works, but that there is some kind of userland
problem. Can you have a look at the config file and see what the problem is ?

Ah, the problem is it would be difficult to get hands on a real '040 by now,
but i will see. I will try to get it from my uncle anyway, since he never used
it, and he dearly needs the freespace, not that it will stay free for long
though :)
