Try booting with "linux debian-installer/framebuffer=false".

What type of installation were you trying here? You failed to provide the 
information about the installer version you are using. It's best to 
provide the full URL.

Note: using a different _installation method_ is unlikely to solve any 
problems. Using a different _release_ can.
