Comments/Problems:
The installer flickered my screen a few times with what seemed to be error output on a white background, but it was so fast I couldn't read it. So I tried ran debian-installer from vc2 and it came up in text mode. The text mode was mostly garbled with a bunch of random characters, but from what I could read, it couldn't detect my net card (which I do have) but said it found a FireWire device (which I don't have). I just rebooted into Windows and I'm downloading a normal ISO now.

<Description of the install, in prose, and any thoughts, comments
and ideas you had during the initial install.>
