In contrast to the failed attempt of November 24, there were no mishaps and everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end. What I specifically noticed as different from 11/24/2005 was that after downloading security updates there were no messages about missing dependencies and broken links. Anyway, the system is now up and running and that is great. This mail comes from the KMail running on Debian. It's great operating system and I like it very much, so making a donation to Debian is very close to the top of the list of my priorities. I wish the Debian team every success. Install logs and other status info is available in /var/log/debian-installer/. I've included log files in the attachment install.tar.gz, just in case somebody wants to compare them to the attachment to the bug report #340941. -- Best Regards, Ivica Culjak
