Davide is right: i forgot that <STAMP> was an italian translation for <PRTSC>, sorry.. Ah, do macintosh and other systems different from IBM PC AT also have this key on their keyboard, or at least a key equivalent to <PRTSC> ?
If some of them don't, then we must choose another key to grab the screen.

I don't know about desktop Mac systems, but my PowerBook has no key
which I can identify as being equivalent to PrintScreen. If it has one
at all then it isn't engraved on it and it must only be accessible via
some bizarre function key combination.

Uhm.. so it seems we have to found another key to take screenshots that every keyboard in this world has and that is not used for other purposes by the d-i: what about the F12 key? do everyone has this key on his keyboard? is it known to be used for something in the d-i ? Screenshots are actually taken by DFB subsystem, the GTK frontend itself does nothing: i'll ask DFB developers if the key used to take screenshots can be customized at runtime with an appropriate entry in /etc/directfbrc. If this isn't possible, then screen grabbing mechanism should be implemeted via GTK: this is not bad at all since will allow the GTK frontend to take screenshots even if used in an X environement instead of DFB.
