With the switch to 2.6.14, the i386 alpha (and daily) images are currently broken as 2.6.12 kernel udebs are no longer available in unstable. We have two options: - rebuild the alpha from etch using 2.6.12, and make sure that additional udebs will also be loaded from etch - rebuild the alpha from unstable using 2.6.14 and udev Note that the fact that the alpha release is a mini iso means that the risk of breakage is fairly large anyway and any release will not have a very long life.
