This is a new component that is not strictly needed to complete the 
installation. Your best option is to just skip it and select the next 
step in the menu. This issue has been documented on [1].

shadow maintainers: please leave this bug report open until the udeb is 
completely ready for testing; this will be at least after the beta1 
release of d-i.
The course of the failure is the fact mktemp is not available.
