about making gtkdfb run on PPC: i would suggest to people involved in 
this task to ask for specific help also on directfb-dev@directfb.org 
since it seems to me they know a lot about this.
I previously had troubles in making GTKDFB run on my RS600 (PReP) and 
they helped me a lot.
