Ideally we do not want a fixed resolution at all. Users should be able to choose their resolution themselves (within reasonable limits) and the logo's we use should be flexible enough to adapt to that. I would prefer we keep the 1024x768 for now, but limit the width of the area we use on the screen so that you can read it easily. If that is too hard, just leave it as it is for now.
