Probably takes less time than you asking the question and me answering it (and leaves no room for misinterpretation of what's written). Anyway, partman is not used. Instead a list of partitions is shown from which the user has to select his root partition. Then a shell is started. Other partitions have to be mounted separately. The selection of the root partition could be made more user friendly.
