Package: boot-floppy
Version: N/A; reported 2002-03-24
Severity: normal

In the installation documentation
(woody/main/disks-i386/3.0.21-2002-03-19/doc/install.en.html to be exact),
in section 5.3 it refers to the boot method "linux", which is spelled
"linux.bin" in the current release of the boot floppies. The syslinux help
page lists the correct name, and I see now there are references to
"linux.bin" in section 4 as well. But section 5 is where one is most likely
to be looking when seeking understanding of the boot options...

He that questioneth much shall learn much, and content much; but
especially if he apply his questions to the skill of the persons whom
he asketh; for he shall give them the occasion to please themselves
in speaking, and himself shall continually gather knowledge. But let
his questions not be troublesome, for that is fit for a poser; and
let him be sure to leave other men their turns to speak. - Francis Bacon
