This means good news: we'll be able to use GTK 2.8 instead of 2.0 in the
future, but for many weeks we'll be stuck with the latter.
Hope Davide will have some time to check those new libraries really work
as they should.
After those libraries become stable we'kl also need to pack them.. oh ,
what an headache!
Yesterday i've created the .tgz files to populate the build
infrastructure Frans Pop has recently set up: i've not yet been able to
test them in combination with existing udebs and i want to be sure they
work togheter (by the way: how to manually get and unpack udebs? should
i use anna ?).
I'm also making some improvements to the frontend: what about a spinning
Debian whistle in the actionbox while progressbar runs?
On the languagechooser/language-name: i found this question is better
displayed using a Tree rather that a List of items: i've created an
ad-hoc question handler, only for that particular question, that
represents continents as father iterators and Nation names as Children
(soon on SVN).
Fathers items are individuated because they begin by "--" and end with
"--" (e.g.: "-- Europe --" ): are there others questions in the d-i that
would benefit of such a representation (i'm thinking about the main
question in the partiotioning tool) ?
