Bug#321610: installation completed but with troubles

Hmmm. That is for the device listed above, correct?
Our hardware database (discover1-data) has the "piix" driver listed for 
that device. Are you sure that ahci is correct? Would piix work as well?

This is quite weird. It would be very good if you could test a new 
installation when the next Beta for debian-installer is released.
That would allow you install with a 2.6.12 kernel and a generally more 
stable environment as a lot of transitions that have been going on will 
be finished.

The beta release will be announced on the debian-installer project page 
[1].
