Comments/Problems:

I booted into linux26 with no other options specified.  As you can see, I quit at partitioning.  This is a week-old box with lots of free space on the hard drive, and I did defrag before trying this install.  I have a backup of the whole WinXP system, but I really, really don't want to use it.  I was unable to resize the one (and only) NTFS partition.  I selected manual partitioning, and I selected the line with the hard drive size information (60GB).  The installer did not give me a chance to specify a new size for the partition, however.   Instead, I got a warning that the partition table would be written and that I could not undo the changes, so I chickened out.  I wonder if this issue is related to the "old errata for rc2" that the "2.6 installer has the potential to mess up Windows partitioning."

Any help here?

Also, it would be nice if it was possible to detect a wireless networking adapter, configure it, and use it for the netinst install.  Not critical to my situation, but I wouldn't have to go to the university to do the install if that worked.
