Well the fact it says uncompressing linux at least means you burned the
CD with the right options in your cd writer program. So most likely you
either have a bad (corrupt) download, or a bad burn.
You could check the MD5SUM of the downloaded image (there are tools for
windows to do this for free like md5sum.exe) and you could try burning
to a different brand of blank CD and/or burn at a slower speed, after
making sure the download was correct.
