Re: GTK fe: some toughts, some questions

yesterday i tried to commit the sources on svn, but i faced the alrady
known authentication prolem: i'll try again this evening (anyway i've
stopped developing the code some days ago, when my hdd crashed, so there
are no changes to the sources on www.swer.it, for those who asked about ).
If i've understood correctly christian perrier's words now we should
build some experimental netinst cd then we really need a complete X
environment, where the gtk fe could live, to be loaded at boot time in
the d-i cd.
My idea is to "borrow" the one from anaconda and place it on the d-i cd,
while we develop the most appropriate udebs (some are already available,
as far as i know; other as X aren't ) and wait for the gdkdfb layer to
become stable.
This seems to me a reasonably fast way to get a gtk d-i prototype cd but
i'm not sure this is also the most appropriate way to proceed, so please
tell me what do you think about this.
